ABSTRACT

QUANTITATIVE STRUCTURE-ACTIVITY RELATIONSHIP OF SOME 7-(4-COUMARYLOXY) ALKYL SUBSTITUTED THEOPHYLLINES

Summary:
Some novel 7-(4- coumaryloxy)alkyl substituted theophyllines have been investigated for quantitative structure-activity relationship (QSAR).For this purpose,the in vitro bronchodilatory activities which were examined by the inhibition of acetylcholine induced contractions in tracheae isolated from guinea pigs have been correlated with various quantum chemical and physicochemical parameters.
