Summary:
Various in vitro methods have been developed for the determination of antimicrobial activity of compounds. For the exact evaluation of the results, convenient methodology has to be selected according to the characteristics of the compound as well as purpose of the study. In this paper, in vitro methods used for the determination of antimicrobial activity are complied and results are evaluated.
